A vital fund-and-morale-raising coterie devoted to the interests, success, and longevity of the Glenelg Football Club. It began about 51 years ago and has become an integral part of the 'Pride of the Bay'.

The Group forms a solid network of about 80 supporters (old and new) who meet regularly to discuss football, business, and life in general. We aim at all times to establish and promote social interaction between our members, to preserve the fellowship of Glenelg Football Club, and foster friendship with other SANFL clubs and footy clubs throughout the nation.

VICE PRESIDENTS' FUNCTIONS

The Group organizes, or is heavily involved in, Club functions, such as the annual Gala Auction, the Bloodstock Stakes Player Auction & Guernsey Presentation, Days at the Races, and Christmas Lunch. There are regular VP dinners held at the Club or elsewhere during the year, featuring past and present Greats of Glenelg and other leading Sportsmen & Sportswomen. The Group is also key for Match Day events, including half-time and after-match conviviality. There is a special enclosure for VPs in the Edward Rix Stand at Glenelg Oval. All who love and support the Tigers, and or just want to have fun,

are welcome.

HITTING THE TARGET

The VP Group sets a fundraising budget every year and has an unparalleled record of revenue-gathering for the Club, through special events, indirect benefactions, player sponsorship, advertising and networking. The VPs give great support to their Club and its players, and get great returns for this. The pride, pleasure, and benefits of being a Glenelg Vice President must be emphasized.
