Having impressed in the 2010 NAB Cup, the rookie was quickly elevated to the Powers senior list to play the role of small forward. Hitchcock’s pace and nous around goal proved difficult for oppositions to handle with the Glenelg recruit booting 20 goals in 17 games for the year, having spent the previous year playing SANFL reserves and U/18s. He is a smart, crumbing, goal kicking small forward.
